In March 2018 Public Power Solutions received planning consent for one of the UK’s largest battery-based electricity storage facilities in Swindon.

The first of four solar farms to be installed on Ministry of Defence property was completed in September 2021.

Barnfield Solar Park is a private-wire project on a former landfill site in Swindon owned by Swindon Borough Council. The project was energised in 2018.

Chapel Farm is an award-winning 5 MW solar park on a former landfill site in Swindon owned by Swindon Borough Council. The project was energised in 2017.

Common Farm is home to two solar farms on the same site sharing a grid connection, a 5MW community scheme and a 3 MW commercial scheme, energised in 2016.

The project was a joint development for Public Power Solutions (PPS) with the Science Museum Group who were looking for a solution that would generate an income enabling them to refurbish the aircraft hangers on the former World War II airfield.

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation appointed PPS to run a mini competition in order to procure design, funding, construction and commissioning of a 70MW solar park.

Braydon Manor is an award-winning 9.1 MW solar farm built on privately owned low-grade farmland near Purton, formerly used as pasture for grazing horses.
